Your Personal Information
We record your name, email address and phone details ("Personal Information") so that we can contact you in relation to your orders. If you have authorised us to send you our periodic news updates then this will be sent via email and/or reminders via sms.
We also keep track of your purchase history in order for refunds or queries that you may have to be dealt with swiftly.
You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the base of every email we send or by letting us know via return email.
We store your Personal Information on a password protected database accessible by our staff either for processing your online orders or assigning your profile to in-store sales. We do this to enable your discounts and to advise when your order is ready.
When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
We do not sell or share your personal details with third parties.
Our website/shoppingcart uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Ground Grocer only last while you're browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Whenever you use our website, or any other website, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web Server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet Browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous. We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with that information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes.
